今年、デビュー25周年を迎えたKinKi Kidsを特集するNHK MUSIC SPECIAL。 　　松本隆、山下達郎そして吉田拓郎などレジェンドたちの証言で描くKinKi Kidsの歩み。KinKi Kidsの2人だけで過去・現在そして未来を語る貴重な対談も実現！ 　　日本を代表するアーティストの世界をじっくり深く掘り下げる特集番組、NHK MUSIC SPECIALに今年デビュー25周年を迎えるKinKi Kidsの出演が決定した。デビュー以来シングル44作品連続で音楽チャート1位を獲得するという偉業を成し遂げてきたKinKi Kidsの世界をレジェンドたちの証言で描く特集番組となる。 　　松本隆と山下達郎はデビュー曲「硝子の少年」の誕生秘話、織田哲郎はKinKi Kidsの転機となった名曲「ボクの背中には羽根がある」について語った。そしてKinKi Kidsの2人にギターや音楽の楽しさを教えてきた吉田拓郎はKinKi Kidsへの深い愛情を語り、光一、剛が思わずグッとくる瞬間も。 　　KinKi Kidsと並行して、光一はミュージカル、剛はシンガーソングライターとしても独自の活動を続けてきた。それぞれの活動を見守ってきた著名人、光一には俳優の前田美波里、剛にはベーシストのハマ・オカモト（OKAMOTO’S）からメッセージが寄せられた。 　　デビュー25周年を迎えた今年、KinKi Kidsの2人は吉田拓郎のラストアルバムに参加し、再び交流を深めた。そして松本隆と山下達郎には新たな楽曲制作を依頼。松本は「高純度romance」、山下は「Amazing Love」を作り上げ、KinKi Kidsへのお祝いメッセージと共に最新作の創作秘話を語った。 　　スタジオパフォーマンス曲：「硝子の少年」「高純度romance」「Amazing Love」
